How Would You Like To Wear Your Hat?

There are two options listed below that we recommend for you to measure your head.
It is essential to measure your hat to fit like your preferred option as there are significant differences.

Option 1 = Sitting on the back:

This is wearing your hat tilted backwards, behind the ears exposing the forehead and front of hairline.

1. Simply get your cloth measuring tape and place it around your head over your occipital bone (the furthest part on the back of your head).
2. Bring the measure around to the front of your head. About 5 mm above your ears and position it at the top of your forehead (beginning of hairline).

Option 2 = Sitting on top:

This is the most traditional style of wearing a hat.

1. Simply get your cloth measuring tape and place it around your head over your occipital bone (the furthest part on the back of your head).
2. Bring the measure around to the front of your head. About 5 mm above your ears and position it in the centre of your forehead, or just above the eyebrows (depending on where you want your hat to sit).
Check what size your measuring tape says. Make sure when measuring the tape is not too loose or too tight.
If in between sizes, we recommend going up in size.
For example: if you measure 58 cm and there is no 58 cm in the style you are after, we recommend going up to size 59 cm.
We can add a hat filler to your order on request if you are in between sizes as these can tailor the hat to fit your head perfectly, just be sure to write this request in our mail.
Adding a hat filler will reduce the size of your hat by 1 - 2.5cm.
